Main filming on the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special is complete, according to Danny Hargreaves. The show's special effects supervisor tweeted earlier:

@Dannysfx That's a wrap ! Dr who 50th Done !! Wow it's going to be epic !!!!!!!!!

However, another source, @19timescounting, suggested shortly afterwards that there would be more filming on Wednesday for 'additional content'.

The special episode stars Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman along with David Tennant and Billie Piper. Other confirmed cast include Joanna Page, John Hurt, Ingrid Oliver and Jemma Redgrave. The episode, which was filmed in 3D, is expected to be broadcast on Saturday 23rd November, the date of the show's 50th anniversary and will also have a limited cinema release.
