Congratulations To Eve Myles on Getting Married

Happy Wedding Day

Llongyfarchiadau i'r pâr priodas newydd hapus! / Congratulations to the newly happy married couple!

Last week, saw Eve Myles return to our screens in new BBC One medical drama Frankie on 14th May 2013 and rounded the week off by marrying her long term boyfriend, Bradley Freegard in Italy on Saturday 18th May 2013, in a small, intimate ceremenony. The only guest is their 3 year old daughter Matilda. Once back in Wales, they will celebrate with family and friends.

Bradley is most recently known for playing Steffan Jones in S4C's drama Teulu (Family), the fifth and final series came to an end earlier.

Eve:

“We’ve put the wedding off three times because of work so now it’s finally happening,” the 34-year-old told WalesOnline before leaving her South Wales home to travel to the secret Italian location. But it’s our priority this year and we’re really excited that it’s finally happening. It will just be the three of us on the day, which is how we wanted it.”

The couple are staying in a boutique hotel and will pledge their vows to each other during a late afternoon ceremony at a nearby abbey.

“I love Italian food and I love Italian people,” she said of their decision to marry in Italy.
“It will be a really nice break – I’ve been working so hard until yesterday so it will be a holiday, honeymoon and wedding rolled into one.”

Return Of A Classic Villain For The 50th?

The 50th special has been completed and we know that the Zygons will be returning.Allegedly,  there is a another, even bigger enemy lined up for the 50th special and could be the main villain of the celebratory episode (possibly). This spoiler has apparently come from a number of very reliable sources and told to Doctor Who Spoilers  who have confidently confirm this spoiler to be true.

 The returning enemy is:

 OMEGA

Omega was a great intergalactic engineer and co-founder of Time Lord society, but circumstances bent his mind so that he threatened the entire universe. He was the only person ever to live within the anti-matter universe, which he subsequently ruled over.

No one has been confirmed to be playing this character but maybe they are hidden in plain sight? In the Arc of Infinity Omega used the Doctor’s biodata (in this case the 5th Doctor Peter Davison) to take physical form.

Webcast Scream Of The Shalka To Get DVD Release

Earth has been invaded – and nobody’s noticed.

The 2003 animated Doctor Who adventure Scream Of The Shalka will be released on DVD on 16th September 2013.

Scream Of The Shalka was originally produced as a continuation of the TV series and took the form of six 15-minute episodes released on webcasts on the official BBC Doctor Who website.

The adventure stars Richard E Grant (recently seen in the current run as Dr. Simeon / The Great Intelligence) as the 9th Doctor. He is up against The Master as played by the wonderful Derek Jaconbi; who went on to play the rol in Utopia. Other Doctor Who stars appear -  David Tennant as the Caretaker and Sophie Okonedo (Liz Ten) as Alison Cheney.

When Russell T Davies brought the show back to our screens in March 2005,    Scream Of The Shalka became a non-canon, online webcast.

The adventure sees the Doctor in a Lancashire village battling a race of underground-dwelling aliens, the Shalka, who are planning to take over the Earth.

Jemma Redgrave:Excited About The 50th Anniversary

cast-jemmaredgrave

Although Redgrave has been appearing with Torchwood‘s Eve Myles in the new district nurse drama Frankie, she still had time to chat about the Doctor Who 50th anniversary…

I wasn’t even allowed to tell my children I was actually in it for about four or five weeks! Once we filmed in Trafalgar Square I knew it would be impossible to keep that under wraps! But what do you do? I was going to work and not being able to tell anyone what I was doing! It was like joining bloody MI6!
What I can tell you is that it’s absolutely bloody brilliant! I think it’s an astonishing script. Stephen Moffat is an outrageously good writer and as always with Doctor Who, it’s philosophical, it’s deep, it’s an adventure story and if you’re a kid, you’re going to be taken on an extraordinary ride. It raises all sorts of interesting questions for anyone who wants to go deeper with it. It’s funny and then on a sixpence it breaks your heart. It’s just wonderful!
It might seem a long way off now, but just you watch – November will be here in a jiffy…
