There are thousands of people covering Doctor Who themes on YouTube,
but not many of them emerge out of a Tardis, walk across a cloud, sit
down at their piano, and then play dressed as every incarnation of the
Doctor.
This is Player Piano, a channel that specialises in huge,
visually-elaborate renditions of music from the Street Fighter score to
Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. And now, of course, they have turned their
sights to the main theme of Doctor Who.
It's the work of arranger/pianist Sonya Belousova and director Tom Grey,
both of whom have injected new life into the theme, with Belousova's
array of cosplay being a particularly highlight.
