Current Doctor Who companion Jenna Coleman is set to leave her role as Clara Oswald at the end of the current series according to 'The Daily Mirror' today.
Jenna, pictured with co-star and new Doctor Peter Capaldi, will depart the show in this year's Christmas special after 18 months as portraying companion Clara Oswald, initially with previous Doctor Matt Smith. At present, this is purely a red top rumour. No official statement has been released from the BBC or Steven Moffat.

really going to miss her. I think her character has been one of the better companions, not that they all haven't been good in their own way.
We do not know for sure that she is leaving at Christmas, although I would not be suprised. However, I feel we need at least one more series with her to see a rounded character development :-)
