This Morning's Ruth Langsford's mix up with Jodie Whittaker

The first female Time Lord has been wandering around the ITV studios today, following her interview with Christine Lampard on Lorraine. However, in a hilarious blunder, Ruth Langsford thought the 35-year-old actress was This Morning’s new resident doctor.
 
Recalling her epic fail with viewers, Ruth giggled: “You know when you know someone but you can’t place them? I say good morning to everybody, because I’m very friendly.”
She continued: “This morning, I said good morning to this one lady and went, ‘I know you. Where do I know you from?' And she just smiled and looked a little sheepish. And she said, ‘Yeah, you might’.”
