Browsing the web as one does, it appears that yet another name has been put in the big Doctor Who hat, Colin Salmon (Dr. Moon in 'Silence In The Library', Season 30), to be the first coloured Doctor.
According to that hive of up to the minute information, The Sun, BBC bosses are apparently eager for Colin Salmon to replace David Tennant, who leaves in 2009. Colin is best known for playing M's assistant in three 007 films starring Pierce Brosnan as James Bond.
A BBC source told the paper: "He made a good impression when he appeared and bosses think the time is right to have the first black Doctor."
I have always been a huge fan of Colin Salmon. A much under rated actor by some. If there was to be a coloured Doctor, bring home the Salmon!!
